16/5/4/1 1tov 47/36/79 shoot in just 29 minutes
past month 19/6/5/1 1.8 tov 53/37/82 in 34mins

hes been the rock for Indy now in the playoff. Hes the best offensive player on the team yes even better than George. Indy is 23-12 when he starts, 15-31 when he doesnt.

Dragic got alot of hype last season and George is playing just as well as he did:confusedshrug: :confusedshrug:

Nobody is going to talk about the 15th best PG in the league on a sub 40 win team :confusedshrug:

He is beasting.. doing it on both sides of the floor. He is definitely the reason why the Pacers are still in the playoff race despite the injuries and shake up from last year.

How would Indy feel about a S&T of Rondo for George Hill?

where do u rank him?

He's the 8th or 9th best PG in the NBA.

I wouldn't put him above

CP3
Westbrook
Curry
Irving
Wall
Lillard
Conley
Lowry
Teague
Lawson
Bledsoe
Dragic
Parker
Jennings

He's right around the 15 spot with guys like Jennings, Knight, or Isaiah Thomas. Not exactly the sort of dude you make threads about unless his team has a good, (read: winning) record, or he's putting up bonkers stats.

Hill was injured or recovering from injury for half the season. Once healthy, INDY put up a winning record with him leading that charge. get out of here with that bullshit of him being at jennings/knight/IT tier. and lawson put up great numbers this seaon, on a terribly underachieving team.

The players that definitely aren't above Hill are Parker (he's been a mediocre basketball player for exactly 12 months now), Jennings and Lawson.

I personally take Hill over Bledsoe, Dragic and Teague, but they all have strong arguments over each other.

Until he was traded, MILWAUKEE put up a winning record with Knight leading the charge.

Until injured, (and after J-Smoove was shipped out) DETROIT put up a winning record with Jennings leading the charge.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, we have enough tape on George Hill to know exactly who he is. He's an average PG having a good season, but that still doesn't put him in the top 10.

Teague, who is ACTUALLY a top 8/9 PG, will shred him if he crawls his way into the playoffs just like he did last year.

Yeah, shooting 11/25 in a 2OT game, which makes it slightly less impressive

George Hill actually is more assertive now out of necessity with the loss of Stephenson and Pg gone most of the season so he is able to show his true skills to all the casual fans who thinks impact is all about the numbers.

Great post.

George Hill being your best scorer = you don't make the playoffs in a historically weak East. That's why we don't make threads about him.

Sure, except that they would have made it if George Hill never missed the first half of the season with injuries on an already crippled pacers roster. How many teams would survive 77 lost games on their main guy (Pg ) plus 40 games with Ghill? He had career high averages on most of his stats and missed the playoffs by a hair.

If somehow Hibbert can get off that team, the Pacers can come become a contender in the East once again

Id probably agree. And I've been talking about Hill. I've made a thread about him and had plenty of people agree with the thread. He's a top 10 pg to me. Still prefer him to play 1 and 2 which he hasn't been able to do because Watson has been hurt.

He's doing what he's doing on a slow paced azz team where he has to wait for Hibbert and sometimes West to crawl up the floor so he can run pick and roll with him. He has nobody else who's consistent around him and injuries all across the board. He's the only consistent one on the team this year basically.....And he dogs the Wiz every time he faces them. He loves matching up with John Wall....

Being the reason the Pacers made it through the season w/o your star player deserves recognition, even though it's the weak-ass East. Rather have a PG who controls the game than one who's flashy at his team's own expense 10/10 times.

He had a good season, best of his career, but he's not a top 10 pg and if he's your best player you aren't winning 40 games.

Like I said in my very first post, why would anybody be talking about the 15th or so best PG whose team didn't make the playoffs in the East?

They were on pace to win 40 games but he missed half the season. They win 38 despite that, he plays a full season and anybody with half a brain knows they could win 40 plus. Not that hard to understand.

He's been the best and most consistent player for the Pacers this season.
