IMO a floor general gets everyone in position on offense and defense(cp3,jordan,kidd) + a bunch of other things that i dont feel like naming.The whole point of this is can someone be a floor general who is not a good defender even though they get a lot of assist(example ty lawson)

Magic was never what you call a good defender, plus he wouldn't/couldn't cut it as a coach and he's not a good analyst... Still, one of the greatest floor generals ever, great at controlling the pace and running an offense, could see the floor like few ever could, big understading of the game while on the court, as well as teammates' strengths...
