Both 55+ win teams. Both finished the regular season on a tear and both are considered the #2 & #3 teams in the West by many.

Two title contenders going at it in the first round. So yeah, I'd say so.

I would be surprised if there was any better.

for me it will always be Golden State sweeping the Mavs. Baron Davis,Matt Barnes, Al H,Jackson. IT was awesome

Dont forget Biedrins. Dude actually mattered, briefly.

Edit: And Monta.

That team was pretty good.

Only other two that come to mind

1995 Rockets vs. Jazz

While the Rockets only won 47 games they were the defending champs, while the Jazz reached 60 wins that year, and a first round series featuring Hakeem/Drexler vs. Stockton/Malone is not too shabby

2008 Spurs vs. Suns

The Suns won 55 games while the defending champs won 56, and the series obviously featured great players like Duncan/Parker/Ginobili and Nash/Amare

blazers-grizz could have been amazing if both teams were healthier

Pop will suck the entertainment out of it by doing Hack-a-Jordan

Rest in peace, sweet fast paced basketball

OKC/MEM last year deserves a mention.

Memphis was decimated by injuries all season and that was the only reason they finished 7th.

They would've been a 55 win team just like they were this season.

Early 2000's had the best matchups for the playoffs. Even the shitty teams had superstars going at it.
2001:
Lakers vs Portland (50-32) round 1
Lakers vs Sac (57-25) round 2
Lakers vs Spurs (58-24) round 3
Lakers vs Sixers (56-26) finals
Lakers lost only once that post-season
