This. Tennis and NBA have a lot in common. Both sports are huge on individual marketing and its in both sporting administrations best interest to keep drug testing as minimal as possible. Everyone with any solid knowledge regarding the testing protocols in tennis know its an absolute joke, a 100% crock of sh!t and that the vast majority of players in the top 20 are stacking test, hgh and epo. The top players get tested on average just 4 times a year, and are told ahead of time when they will be tested. A player can put on a testosterone patch during a tournament to recover after a game, as well as pump himself full of epo, and turn in a clean test just a day later so knowing when you will be tested makes it an absolute farce.

I am not familiar with NBA testing but I am sure its internally run like tennis and very similar.

hgh gets a reputation that it makes you huge. This is because in the bodybuilding world, HGH is stacked with insulin to promote ungodly amounts of muscle growth. By itself it isn't amazingly anabolic. Its not like a steroid in this regard. HGH takes upto 6 months to take full effect and if its the only thing you are running other than a small dose of test for recovery purpose's, it will not make you huge.

It does however promote muscle growth in the long term and a very strong amount of conditioning. This is why you see NBA players, even if they are skinny have very pronounced delts and conditioning. Its even obvious in Rajon Rondo.

btw I have no problems with drug use, they are used in every pro sporting league in the world that is worth a dam and Id prefer to be accepting and understanding rather than ignorant and fighting against something that will never change. Its just a way of life for most players in professional sports so even if WB was on something (he is) it doesn't detract from him in anyway.

However the fact he only has a 36.5 inch vertical, that is something to worry about.

It's his performance and aggression more than anything. If he's HGH-free then he's a hell of a player though. I'm just guessing some are on HGH if they're doing testing. Could be just an image thing but we'll see.
