I have no opinion on the actors and what not but the batman that this film is inspired by have the armor that can go toe to toe with superman. And aquaman and wonder woman is probably going to make cameos on the film anyways.

not every superman is written equal and not every batman is the same. But in this case in the comics, the bat armor could withstand superman's attack for a while but superman overpowers it in the end. But how bat man beats superman is another story and me telling you now will ruin the epicness that was the dark knight returns which the movies draws inspiration from.

The question is how come no one asked how does Iron man's hulk buster armor withstand hulks strength? Hulk is one of the few characters that is on par with superman and can potentially beat but no one asks how Iron man can fight hulk with his armor :confusedshrug:

I liked Bale, he fit the tone/character of those movies perfectly well. I mean the shots and what not in the trailer for this new movie was alright as far as fitting a "menacing" image goes but once I saw those posters my instant thought was that I can't get past that it's Ben Affleck and that it just looks like he's pouting.

I have a hard time buying into someone with a face like Affleck being some super intimidating mean villain/anti-hero. Affleck is a rather innocent looking pretty boy. I feel like the theme of this movie based on the trailer footage is supposed present a much darker more imposing Batman. Like I said the trailer shots looked fine. It's just the close up seeing Affleck behind that mask that made me laugh. I'd think a real scary batman would be a physical appearance behind the mask more akin to Micky Rourke's "Marv" character in Sin City. That's the face of a guy you wouldn't want to **** with. Though I guess that wouldn't work as a "Bruce Wayne". Anyways the movie shots in the trailer all looked good. It's just the posters that are super-close up that I lol'd at I'm sure the movie will be very dark and it will work out fine.
