1) Davis is a bird fed player (BFP). Therefore he can't be considered the best player in the game.

2) Apart from blocks his defensive game is pretty damn mediocre. As can be seen by looking at NO's defensive ranking, AD can't anchor shit even with Asik behind him.

Curry is the engine behind their team, they are good because of their defense and deep bench, but they are great because of Curry.
