I've been here since late 2009 and I'll say 2011 was the best. You had the Lakers fresh off a repeat, the decision and subsequent choke of the century in the Finals, Dirk wins a title, the rise of OKC, Melo to NY, among other things. That was probably the most enjoyable ISH has been in my time here, what do you say?

2011 - 2013... i call it the Lebron hater meltdown years....

You had the Lakers off a repeat where Kobetards (not to be confused with Kobe fans, there is a difference) were at their peak infestation on ISH, expecting another championship but Kobe/Lakers "choked" as it was in the early rounds by Mavs, got swept... followed by massive melt down by that fanbase who were now trying to focus attention away on Lebron/Heat loss instead in the Finals acting like what defending champions Kobe/Lakers did there was more prestigious or didnt happen or something... they do this still to this day...

Then next Finals Lebron went to Finals again and beat OKC, where we got to see Durant literally cry on his mothers shoulders.... massive melt down again by Lebron haters....

Then next year Lebron got to do the same thing.... that Game 6 Ray Allen three followed by Lebron stoppage sending it to OT and then Lebron taking it over there with a gamewinner and then Game 7 takeover winning another championship stopped ISH from working for days....

Massive meltdown again.... very many Kobetard trolls (Phong, nbacarddotnet etc.) stopped posting...

ISH crashed at a historical rate during those years/events....

07/08 area. I miss a lot of the old posters like dejordan, Stroshow, catzhernandez, sakf, GeeWhiz, the guy with the Rasho Nesterovic avy who used to shut down threads with his photoshopping (Was it Qwyjibo?), VCDAPTW, TMOGE, etc. Not all of them were great posters but they did bring great entertainment value.

The answer is during the ezboard days. Pre vbulletin, although vbulletin is a far superior board, there was just more fun back then. Gobb and kblaze posted more often.

The only negative part about that timeframe was all the Kobe lovers. I mean... There were and are people that ACTUALLY believe that Kobe was the best player in the game and better than his teammate Shaq. Haha.
