There is only one ball...
There is only one ball...
And none of those players you highlighted could be called selfish.
Having Curry, Klay, and Durant on the floor opens the floor up for Lebron and AD so much.

There is only one ball...
Curry and Durant can play off-ball though, great three point shooters. Lebron clearly would handle the ball.

John Wall
Klay Thompson
Kevin Durant
Dirk
Anthony Davis
6th man: Curry
beats any team of current players you can think of. Completely unguardable on offense. Imagine Wall running the break with Durant and Davis, Dirk trailing for free 3's
When people put together these hypothetical squads, they forget that there's only one ball to go around. If you have two ball handlers, a superior off-ball player will help you more than a more-talented guy who needs to handle the ball to be effective.

My starting 5's 3 point percentages:
Curry 44% <--- Secondary ball handler
Klay 44%
Durant 40%
Lebron 35% <--- Primary ball handler
Davis
Curry vs Wall is such a joke. Curry is better at: finishing at the rim, midrange, long range. In terms of passing, Wall is the better playmaker, but Curry would be sharing ballhandling responsibilities with Lebron which is a much better strategy than just having one ballhandler. Curry is also excellent at playing off the ball, and you should know that if you've watched any GSW games.

Curry absolutely destroys Wall each time they face each other.
Klay and Durant are primarily off-ball players. We both have them.
Lebron is possibly a better and more versatile off-ball player than Dirk. He's a much better defender. All in all, he's a much better player than Dirk at this point in his career. In terms of shooting, we're comparing Lebron's 35% moreso to Wall's because Lebron would be the primary ball handler. In terms of Dirk's 38% 3FG, we'd be comparing that to Curry's 44% since Curry would be playing off ball. We can probably assume that Curry's 44% would go higher playing more off-ball.
AD - Same.
In conclusion. My team would shred your team to pieces.

Stacked. Championship or bust :lol
What is the point of this thread? Is it, you assemble your fantasy team and I'll assemble mine, and we'll see who wins? There is no way we will be able to tell who's would win. You could have 2 superstars and 3 super role players and they would be able to beat the team with 5 superstars because there is only 1 ball.
