[quote]Regular Season; a shot to tie or take the lead
Last 24 seconds
Kobe: 48 for 165 (29.1%)
LeBron: 29 for 99 (29.3%)
Last 30 seconds
Kobe (since 01): 54 for 176 (30.68%)
LeBron: 33 for 108 (30.56%)
Last 2 minutes
Kobe (since 01): 130 for 346 (37.57%)
LeBron: 89 for 227 (39.21%)
Last 5 minutes
Kobe (since 2001 season): 243 for 586 (41.47%)
LeBron (since 04 season): 189 for 434 (43.55%)
Conclusion: Neither Kobe or LeBron shoot a good percentage when the time is winding down (last 30 seconds or less) although LeBron has the edge in the last 24 seconds compared to Kobe having the edge in the last 30 seconds (all be it by the smallest of margins). In the last 2 minutes and 5 minutes of a regular season game LeBron has the edge over Kobe. Overall I would give LeBron the edge as he leads in 3 out of the 4 categories.
Post Season; a shot to tie or take the lead
Last 24 seconds
Kobe: 7 for 28 (25.0%)
LeBron: 7 for 17 (41.1%)
Last 30 seconds
Kobe: 7 for 28 (25.0%) (0 for 8 from the 09 post season till present day)
LeBron: 9 for 19 (47.30%)
Last 2 minutes
Kobe: 17 for 50 (34%) (0 for 8 in the last two playoffs; 2010 and 2011)
LeBron: 21 for 43 (48.8%)
Last 5 minutes
Kobe (since 01 season): 30 for 88 (34.09%)
LeBron: (since 06 season): 36 for 74 (48.6%)
Conclusion: In the last 24 seconds and 30 seconds of a post season game Kobe only shoots 25%, which is terrible. LeBron however is clearly

I'd go with Kobe for a shot with like 2 seconds or less. If I have more time, I'll go with LeBron.

Say's the guy who's really a 5'0" midget. It's nice to see Jeff banned your sock accounts (20four and anaheimlakers24).

Same elementary level insults. Just enjoy the 2015 NBA Playoffs. And Watch Lebron and his team against Boston.

Lebron has the highest ppg in NBA history in elimination games, if I'm not mistaken. He is clutch, regardless of what most kids who don't understand basketball will spout. You don't need to make these threads:hammerhead:

Yup! Much better performer than Kobe in the games that count:applause:

Pathetic thread. Theres literally no one that knows basketball who would pick LeBron to take the last shot of a basketball ball over Kobe. Not Bird, Magic, Jordan, Shaq or anyone.
Lol @ not posting the records of each team, let alone the level of competition/era.

Lol. Bran stans are rabid stat freaks. How does each player compare to one another regarding turnovers in the last two minutes of a clutch game? Free throws? Which player is shooting and which player is stiff arming his way to the basketball begging for a call?
We need context Dr. Stat.

What does a team's record have to do with individual comparison?
Cause maybe shooting nearly 60% in garbage time and averaging 27ppg while simultaneously getting curb stomped isn't conducive to winning.

It's unfortunate he doesn't have Shaq averaging 38 and 17 besides him and carrying to to ships:banana:

It's common knowledge that LeBron is a better clutch situation performer than Kobe.
I still can't get over the large difference in their big game production. If LeBron had games like that everyone would be getting on him for 'shitting the bed'.
It's good to know LeBron is held to a higher standard.

"He first missed a jumper to win the game in the 4th quarter and 3 three-pointers in overtime (2 of which would have tied the game in the final minute)."
How do the percentages look if you ignore rookie 18 year old Kobe failing in the playoffs?

Why would anyone ignore those? Should we also deduct the points he scored those years from his career total?

I find it kind of sad that Kids today has nerve to put LeBron and Kobe's name in the same sentence when talking about clutch, etc.. One of the most disrespectful thing to do to Kobe is to compare him to the likes of LeBron.. :facepalm I mean it's okay to compare Jordan to Kobe but LeBron eww..

How do you look up these stats? I feel like D Rose should have really high clutch stats. This seems like a cool chance to check my bias cuz I never seen the stats used in OP comparison for him.
