View Full Version : Atlanta is the only team that could possibly beat the Cavs

Why? Multiple scoring bigs and a legit 3pt shooters. You need both of those to beat LeBron, Kyrie and the refs.

Doesn't mean they can't play better

Having a momentum going into the playoffs helps alot. Cavs been the hottest team in the league behind Golden State, i dont see the Hawks "playing better" against them.

Chicago can fight against Cavs too. Wizards maybe able to put up some fight.
Cavs aren't really that good this year

Hmm, either we'll sweep the Hawks in the ECF, or another team will knock us out before. Who does this jinx?

They clinched the #1 seed and didn't have to go 100% to finish the year off, pretty sure they wanted to go into the POs all healthy.

They legit have a roster to beat the Cavs and with a coach that shares the same views of the game as Pop does.

Bulls only have 1 legit scoring big. I also don't see the Cavs losing with HCA

I don't believe in The Konex curse. It's all coincidence that things goes bad when he predicts something will happen. Nobody can fool me. :lol

He's probably not cursed, just a fool who makes over reactionary predictions threads over and over that almost always go wrong.
You would think he would learn by now that he has no idea what he's talking about.

At one point, he was a fool making wrong predictions all the time, then, he started to make those ''wrong'' predictions on purpose to feed the ''konex curse jerk circle''

He obviously made that OKC not making the playoffs prediction thinking Durant would return and get them to make the playoffs, but it backfired :lol

That's not how the playoffs work in the NBA. Does finishing strong help? Sure. But that's the main factor at all. The playoffs are largely determined on how well you can adjust to mis-matches on the court and how well you can play a half-court offense and see what the defense is going to give you. Hence why the Cavs got bounced not even making the Finals in their two 60+ win seasons before LeBron chose to go to Miami.

Difference is this Cavs team is more talented than those overachieving teams.

Those teams were defensive juggernauts that were perfectly constructed around their star player.

I give them a slim chance since they have home court advantage but I just don't think they have the team.
