Epic, gonna be even louder tonight if their fans are aware of this. Too bad this wasn't said the first time before the finals (or WCF).

anything above 100dBfor 2hrs = permanent hearing loss.

If the Warriors are 1 win away from a championship the NBA better pray it isn't at Roaracle then. When that crowd smells blood it is insane how loud it gets.

That arena is pretty much a hazard due to the roof designs. Fan noise is amplified to an unsafe level.

I bet someone can file a lawsuit to get this issue fixed. Just for reference,

112 db contains 10^1.12 = 13 times the power of a 100 db environment.

Football wins. KC's Arrowhead Stadium hit like 140 dB to break the world record a little while ago.

142 dB confirmed by Guinness Book of World Records - http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/loudest-crowd-roar-at-a-sports-stadium

You're absolutely right. I haven't been to a Warriors game. But you're a fool if you think a Warriors game is louder than an average regular season NFL game.

One of the loudest crowds I can remember was when the Oilers went to the Stanley Cup back in 06. Drunk hockey fans can get rowdy as ****.

Monty Williams says the Oracle Arena decibel level may be against the rules. "I'm serious." Story to come...

Could be the joking version of "I'm serious," but there are so many bitches in the NBA it wouldn't surprise me.
