Key:
5 points for FMVP
3 points for ring without FMVP
-1 point for every all-star other than the specified player

Jordan:
26 points

Pippen:
12 points

Duncan:
17 points (Note: I took 1 away for David Robinson in 1999 even though there was no all-star game)

Shaq:
14 points

Kobe:
14 points

LeBron:
6 points

Horry (the usual outlier that messes up everything):
9 points

Olajuwon:
10 points

Wade:
6 points

Bosh:
2 points

Magic:
13 points

Bird:
7 points

Kareem:
13 points

Ranking of just the above hand selected players:
1. Jordan - 26
2. Duncan - 17
3a. Shaq - 14
3b. Kobe - 14
5a. Kareem - 13
5b. Magic - 13
7. Pippen
8. Hakeem - 10
9. Horry - 9 (again, always Fs these up)
10. Bird - 7
11a. LeBron - 6
11b. Wade - 6
13. Bosh - 2

Not perfect or very accurate, but I was just curious how this would turn out. Definitely some surprises. Also, I didn't bother with pre-FMVP days.

Neat list. 13th place is only 2 points?

I'm sure there are others above him, I just did Bosh since I already had the info up for LeBron/Wade. For example, I assume Dennis Rodman is above Bosh, as is Tony Parker.

If you can get a consensus on which years he was FMVP.

We've gotta get Cavs in here. He posted earlier today about players like Russell winning an equivalent to the FMVP that has fallen out of memory.

Excluding FMVPs, he is already at 9. Now just add 2 points for every year you believe he deserved FMVP.

True.

Maybe cats like lazeruss and cavsftw have a clue.

I think fplii has mentioned 7-8 FMVPs as a good guess.

Isiah should be on there.

Then that makes him clearly #2 on this list. 9 would put him over Jordan.
