yeah because Carlisle has it out for him, let Rondo be Rondo, with free reign he could be helping Dirk and Monta out offensively
Dirk just went 3/14, got absolutly wrekked on defense.. but place blame on the guy who got pulled 30 seconds into the 2nd half and never got back in the game
Rondo has proven himself in the playoffs multiple times, he doesn't deserve this treatment from his coach

Yeah, it's crazy how people kept thinking Rondo was going to turn it up in the playoffs when he looks nothing close to this 10-12 season years

Probably can, and you'd wanna hope his play is due to not wanting to be where he is or not being 100% yet or something like that and he can turn it around.
Rondo and Kobe is gonna be fun.

great analysis!! :applause:
so.. you think that Rondo has his skill and abilities :facepalm
if you can't tell that there is something else up, than you're not watching the games, its plain to see.. not sure what else to tell you
Charles, Shaq and Kenny all said the exact same thing
I can't really imagine where he'll go next year. Too much of an attitude, can't shoot, and needs to dominate the ball too much for any good team to want him much less throw big money at him. And he obviously makes no sense for a rebuilding team. Only teams I can see maybe want him are the Lakers and/or Knicks i.e. poor management trying to appease their superstar and frustrated fanbase and aren't patient enough to go through a traditional rebuild who HOPE Rondo can be the answer. Otherwise, I really don't know where he will end up. He might have to completely drop the attitude, and reinvent himself as some kind of defensive stopper making way less then he was expecting.
For half the season ?
Until they kill each other.

Whether there's something "else up" is irrelevant. Guy was garbage in the regular season, and is just another body in these 2 playoff games.
Sitting him down is the best thing Dallas can do in this series.

You're really trying to sell this huh? It's been two games and he played what, 10 minutes in Game 2? Chill out.
I know this isn't his system and he can't play with these guys who needs the ball in their hands to be successful. He's leaving this summer to a team that suits his needs. He'll be back next year.

He had 3 hall of famers in Boston, and the offense was a clogged toilet shithole. They only won because of defense, this guy can't run any offense.
Would take Derek Fisher over this guy every day.

When will you guys realize no team has a need for Rondo. The dude cannot lead a great offense and he's a point guard.

there are so many variables during the regular season, comparing W/L in the context that you are is just dumb if you're trying determine what works in the playoffs
that's like saying the 2014 Nets were going to beat the HEAT in the playoffs because they were 4-0 against them in the regular season.
Rondo is their best option at point guard, he consistently raises his game in the post season. Let him do his thing.

It's amazing this Mavs team won 50 games in a tough conference, toughest divison... despite the lack of defense, dysfunction, and veteran role players.

Rondo only works well with a very select line up and the Mavs don't have it, that's not Rondos fault, it was a bad trade but the best thing Rondo could do is play within the system that's been in place for a few years now and quit trying to force the issue...
Lakers don't have the right lineup either so unless he comes real cheap I'm hoping the Lakers pass him up

Rondo was only good on the Cs because he had 3 HOF shooters to pass to. They also helped space the floor, allowing him to drive in and get his during playoff games. I knew he wouldn't be able to pull that shit when the big 3 left, I knew he would go back to being a scrub, and guess what, I was right. He is a defensive role player, that's it.

He wants to win, knows how to win. He torched the Rockets in the second quarter of game 1, then completely looked passive the second half. Carlisle would rather lose without him than win Rondo's way. Great coaches coach their personnel, not their system. He has new personnel and he refuses to adjust. This is all on the coach.
