Easy. He took out the 7 of heart card from his pocket and slip it to the bottom during the misdirection.

Yeah, he only had to replace one card. If the stick figure took the first card they said out of his hat, put it back and then took out the 7 of hearts I'd be impressed.

I already know but out of respect for magicians, I don't want to explain it. I was kidding about Simon being in the know.

What makes a good magician is his delivery and style. This particular British magician is very good. Cameras on him, judges on him and he bullsh!tted them to their face. That is the impressive part.

I have a buddy that does card tricks and they went to a David Copperfield show. His wife was picked out of an audience to do an illusion. They made her appear on the other side of the stage. I asked the both of them how it happened and they won't tell me till this day.

I will tell you one thing though......

cool. :pimp:

it's a pretty ingenious trick and i figured this guy created it himself, but i guess not.

still, the reason i posted this video is that if you look very carefully you can see how this trick works. and it doesn't include adding any cards to the deck.

you can also reverse the correct card and put it to the bottom

very poor camera work.

and editting hid key sequences and made it impossible to study his hands the whole time.

Agreed. The good tricks on TV require the camera showing the stage the whole time.

pretty much every magic trick works by obfuscation. you'll almost always have missing information no matter what your POV is.

the fun of the game is finding the clues and figuring out how the whole thing works. again, that's something which was possible if you were watching carefully.

i still don't get how that trick works. how can that card copy any card in a deck someone says as the bottom card? :wtf:

i wish i could buy it, it says sold out. i never even thought about buying magic trick shit but its definitely something i want to try out considering how inexpensive that stuff looks. damn i might have to add magic tricks to my repertoire :pimp:

if you're unlike almost everyone else in this thread who had to look the solution up, you could indeed figure it out if you look at the cards being flipped very carefully.

hint: downloading the video and looking at it frame by frame helps a lot.
