After seeing him miss a wide open jumper at tha end against tha hawks he look like he should retire. Especially since he couldn't score jack shit tha whole game too. Brooklyn wasted a lot of money on this dude, and he seems like a total scrub. I actually miss tha old utah jazz derin honestly but do you think he's officially done now? Will he do better in game 3 and 4? Or should he get traded to a more suitable team for him?

He's a system player. He's exposed as a scrub ever since he's not coached by Jerry Sloan

Leave my man Real14 alone, bitch *****. As long as he is against the Nets, I won't let anyone *** with him.

Until he starts hating on the Hawks again. Which is most likely after this series.

Don't know if he's officially done, but we can say your career in communication is.

That's not true. He was still considered one of the better PG's until the past two seasons. Even had a 57 point game, although it was against the LolCats (IIRC the year they had 7 wins). Still, put up 21/3/9 and was an All-Star in 2012, and put up 19/3/8 in 2013.

Is this your first time seeing him play since 2012? dude fell off hard :(

It's A VC3!!!

he is done. deron will NEVER give any team a full season of serviceable basketball. he might go back to all-star form for two weeks out of the entire season but he's going to be trash for most of the season. he is 95% of the reason why nets lost vs. the bulls, lost vs. the heat and the hawks as well. he constantly gets killed by opposing guards, can't make plays and can't score. every nets fan is done with him and i want him gone.

I have a sneaking suspicion, given Cuban's penchant for signing big names and DWill's ties to Dallas, that before Deron hangs them up he will play for the Mavs

considering how many times he has made OTC and NBA forums threads about quitting and leaving the site I don't think you'll get him to honour that.

D Will is another unfortunate victim of the injury bug. Which is a shame because D Will at his best would be a top 5 PG in the world. He had a blend of size, shooting, passing, athletic ability, and defense that got him on those Olympic Teams. Plus he was more pass first-floor general than this new breed of PG's today. He could get u 20 and 10 from a more of a pass first-floor general style of play.

You guys are stuck paying him $40M+ over the next two years. Nobody in their right might is going to touch his contract.

He looks completely done. Slow as all hell and his shot isn't even falling. Kind of awful to imagine the fact that he'll be getting paid $20mil+ two years from now and be significantly worse.

Probably just jinxed him into putting up 25/10 next game...

D-Will has been done since 2012.
this. more or less. he has never been the same player since injury and he was rarely close to his peak anytime on the nets. Was some of it system? Sure, sloan was great. But most of it was due to injury. hes still solid, but not a top player on any team.
