He's been awesome lately. He looks like the DPOY type player from the past, and has been scoring incredibly well. He's such a giant presence in the paint when he's healthy. He's really brought his A game so far, like he did last year in the playoffs.

Dwight has been fantastic. Easily the MVP for the Rockets these playoffs.

2 reasons why D12 wasnt as good as he can be in the last few years:

1) injuries
2) he thought he should be a Nr. 1 offensive option in the post

He never believed SVG that he is best used as defensive anchor, setting picks and roll hard to rim, mixed with the ocasional postplay. thats exactly what SVG told him and how the Magic used him with shooters spacing the floor.

Statistics show that when he plays like that he is the best defensive anchor in the NBA and a valuable bigmen on offense.

He probably realised that he has to shape up and get paper for all the kids and women he got.

I think he has adjusted his game to being able to accept that he is the no 2 option on this team and as mentioned earlier he has gotten over his back injuries. Time to gel with this team is a huge plus as well and a familiar team mate in Smith. Speaking of Smith, he's been doing alright lately and to think a couple of months ago we were all sold that he was the most unwanted player in the NBA. lol!
