Students are the stupidest and most spoilt mother****ers on the face of the planet...never grateful, always demanding more, always preaching diversity while still enforcing their own childish moral orthodoxies. What you notice when you have spent time in different countries and at different institutions is there is something about the phoney and unearned independence of University life that makes people complete prats, who are incapable of understanding why everyone else hasn't been indulged as much as they have, wherever they are. If you want to find an academic rigour and dedication to learning you have usually to look at immigrant groups, because Western children are too spoiled to ever work hard (a generalisation, but an accurate one - most of the students i have met have no understanding of real work, and the time and dedication it takes to truly excel in something).

It's funny, because in Holland, where students basically have free education till the age of 26 (2 years of free masters study), they're complaining and whining about not getting enough. Whatever you give people, in the end, it's never enough, and they always expect an increase, an improvement, more. Especially students, the incorrigible brats that they are.

From reading the link, it was a event for female minorities. So no white people and no men of any kind. I can understand why they would target that group of just females from ethnic minorities to come so they can discuss issues pertaining to them in particular and not have outside influences.

I am white and I don't think anything was wrong with this, maybe her facebook post was worded poorly.
