I know of the many, many reasons a guy like Shaquille O'Neal could never learn to shoot with good form (raised differently, established muscle memory, concentration on other aspects), but just on the surface, I admit it's a little weird to see his freshman-aged son showcasing shooting form so much prettier than his pops.

Exactly, he has a LOT of potential if he lifts/eats properly, and is taught the right way. He seems to mostly be a faceup player, so I'm hoping he develops a back to the basket game as well at this young age before it just becomes too unnatural for him

He'll definitely bulk up. At the same age, Idt Shaq was much taller if he was. Read something about Shaq being taller than 6'6 as a freshman, so who knows what could happen. Idt nutrition will be a problem in that house :lol
