According to a couple sources, the explanation the Warriors received was that Curry would’ve gotten the foul if he had missed the 3.

Glad I'm not crazy by thinking that a lot of late whistles are due to whether the shot goes in or not, which is total bullshit. I'm not implying Curry, just over the past and present seasons in general it's become a lot more noticeable.

sorry, meant game TYING 3

So basically, the Warriors should have won in regulation. The league is lucky they won in OT.

this isn't new. has been happening since the 80s.
just look at the games. lebron doesn't get "and 1" calls on the same fouls he gets 2 FTs for if the shot doesn't go in.

a foul is a foul whether it happens in the 2nd quarter or the last second.

Call the damn foul, dude got tackled

It is obvious that they didn't call it simply because it went in, but it pisses me off more than they don't even try to hide it.

This is completely fair.

It was one of those 50/50 calls. If the ball misses, you call the foul. Don't wanna be the guy to NOT call a foul in the closing seconds like those morons in game 2 of the 2012 NBA finals.

Roughing the shooter!

1 inch penalty on Curry's two front teeth.

Ref is looking right at it and swallows the whistle.

Curry would ended the game at the line.

Davis and Reke literally almost detroyed the little boy. In half.

I was preaching it all night in the game thread. It almost happened.

They needed OT for the ratings.

They destroyed him it was an obvious foul.

But in some cases I think bailing out the shooter with freethrows is ridiculous if he gets fouled after the shot up high. Down low is debatable.

There is no way this is acceptable under NBA policy. I hate refs that do this shit. If you get clamored on a 3 and you make it then it should be a 4 point play opportunity. Fvck the inconsistent NBA refs.
