View Full Version : It's the Spurs and everyone else

15 others are just playing for second.
It's just a matter of who they beat and when, not if.
San Antonio got a new lease on life Wednesday, and it feels like they're ride that all the way to another title.
All they have to do is win one road game per series. At home, they're almost like the 1986 Celtics. Untouchable perfection. They practically never miss threes there.
They have experience everyone else lacks, and they're the only team that knows how to win.
Good luck, NBA. Until someone proves me wrong, the playoffs are just filler for another inevitable ring in SA.

It's going to be tough because tony parker and tiago splitter are not 100% healthy.

They don't need them.
Kawhi, Mills, and the bench are all they need.
At this point, Kawhi is all but unstoppable. Mills fills in well, and the bench is deep and perfect and practically always comes through.
Size? Big deal. With all their shooting and ball movement, it doesn't matter if Splitter's hurt. Diaw will be just fine.
They are cruising. Personally, I'm just accepting the inevitable championship parade.

Tony Parker hurts them by limiting Patty Mills minutes. The spacing, ball movement, and defense is much better with Patty than even a healthy Tony Parker.

Kawhi is not unstoppable
Say that after he faces some real defenders not Matt Barnes, Hedo, and DeAndre Jordan.
He has to get past Green/Barnes/Iguodala then Bogut when they face Golden State.
Then if they beat Golden State he will go up against another great defender in Ariza with Dwight Howard, Smith, Terrence Jones

If they get by LAC, they'll see HOU before GSW. HOU is a bad matchup for the Spurs. Harden has always killed them and Duncan can't deal with Dwight's athleticism. If they play Jones, Splitter has to be on him.

There is no such thing as a Spurs bad matchup.
As long as they're getting stops and draining bombs, it won't matter one damn bit.
