5 teams up 3-0, with Atlanta & Memphis both up 2-0, playing today & both with a good shot frankly to go up 3-0, which would make it 7.

I don't know I just have a lil' hunch that one of these series will at least get pushed to 6 games, if not 7 (if not history being made w/ the first team to win a series after being down 3-0).

Probably won't happen, but which team do you see making a push like this?

Neither of them.
Matchups are too one sided, except Spurs-Clips, but if SA win game 4 it will be over in 5-6 games.

Terrible first round after a terrible regular season. Only interesting series is Spurs/Clippers, which hopefully the Spurs will win in 5/6.

Hopefully the second round will be much better.

If the first round has sucked in some ways, but it'll only lead to a better 2nd and conf finals. There will be some huge battles and whoever makes the finals will have earned it, especially in the West. The East is basically Cavs vs Bulls but yeah.

2nd round has A LOT of potential

Bulls-Cavs
Warriors-Grizz
Spurs-Rockets
Wizards-Hawks

All should be at least 6 games series.

We went from the best 1st round ever, to the worst 1st round ever in one year.

2013 was prob worse. Not only did almost every series go 3-0, but teams couldn't close out. Hopefully that doesn't happen this time.

Last years first round was probably the best I ever saw. Didn't every series but Miami go to 7 games? Something like that. Yeah, I am not even watching religiously like I usually do. It feels like if you aint missing anything. I watch Cavs, Rockets/Mavs, Spurs/Clips.

despiste the 3-0 series, there have been good games, but yeah the interest in next games of those 3-0 series right now are none. 2nd round is going to be great though.

We all know why.

It's because Durant's not in it this year.

I've said it before, the NBA BADLY needs somebody like him. Regular season, playoffs, etc. He provides a value of entertainment that no other player can bring. None. The 30 feet 3's, poster dunks, ETC! Dude is a once in a generation talent. Period.

Last year's first round was CRAZY.
It might have been even better than the rest of the playoffs :lol

Maybe this year we'll have a shitty first round but an amazing 2nd round,Conference Finals and the Finals.

Lat year there were long series in the first round, Dallas-Spurs and Grizzlies-Thunder went 7 games, Clippers-Warriors as well?

This year is the contrary, it happens.

It's been very bad, one sided match ups. I'm not even watching the East except for crunch time. The West disappointed me,I was hopping for better series after so many good regular season teams. That Spur loss to the Pelicans screwed up the matchups.

It's obvious what you're doing, but there's truth to this. Conflict, imo, is greatest source for successful story writing in literature, movies and television.

Stars, personalities, and the fan's egos are that for the NBA. The Cavs aren't watched so much because LeBron and Kyrie are entertaining. It's because there's a large contingent of people desperately trying to stick their tongue in LeBron's ass and another on their knees, praying for him to lose, and for him to be the reason why. Durant is the same way. Westbrook and Harden have emerged as the same (although it's more like 20/80 for Harden). I think Kobe, post Shaq-Frobe 3 peat, is the best example of this in the NBA.

If you have the slightest opinion on the players/teams and a personality not that of a doorknob, you're going to get sucked in. Doesn't matter if you are a casual fan, a player's fan, or a team fan. It only gets heightened in the playoffs.

Same shit happens in other sports. Look at Romo, or UK basketball, or SEC football teams. And it's fun to be a part of it all. Addicting, too.

I'm confused, are we talking about every finals run Lebron has been a part of?
