That, and LeBron is still better than Harden. Davis, Curry, and Westbrook all have pretty strong cases, also.

But make no mistake, if Durant is anywhere close to 100%, he and LeBron are pretty clearly still #1 and #2 in the NBA. Neither Curry or Harden this season were as good as LeBron or Durant from the last few years.

Durant/LeBron are in a tier above Harden. Davis > Harden too, so he's 4th at best.

Pretty much this. And Curry and Westbrook both have a pretty strong case over Harden, too. CP3, too.

Let me know when Westbrook/CP3 can carry his team to a 2nd seed in the West by himself. Westbrook couldn't even make the playoffs. Curry has too much help to even make this a debate. Only players that are obviously better than Harden is LeBron,Durant and AD.

well, westbrook, Curry and harden can all be discussed together.

Curry is MVP this season, but not necessary means he's better than Harden.
Harden is solid super star, but it's clearly that Lebron and KD are undoubtedly better, AD still need more times, but he's already a monster.

So.. i am not sure where's this best player in the league statement coming from..

Harden has clearly surpassed both Westbrook and Durant. Harden had to work with a group of rejects in an already depleted roster and he made it work.

Westbrook? He chucked his way to the scoring title and out of the playoffs. That's OK. I'll gladly take the 56 wins, division title, MVP award and a comfortable 3-0 series lead in the....playoffs.

This is primarily targeted at the "clearly has surpassed Durant" part. Based on what? Because if you're being serious, and if Durant returns to anything close to his old self, there's no way you can actually mean this. Harden this season pretty clearly still wasn't as good as 2012-2014 Durant.

And him surpassing Westbrook is still somewhat debatable. But to claim with so much confidence he's surpassed Durant? Jesus, Harden's fanboys are becoming as insufferable as Kobe's fanboys.

That's because Westbrook himself missed 16 games. If he doesn't miss 16 games, OKC wins, at the very least, 5-7 more games, wins the division, and finishes top 5 in the West.

And that's still including Durant's 55 missed games and Ibaka's 18 missed games. Then you throw in the 1-3 weeks every other key rotation player missed, and finishing as high as top 5 in the West with Westbrook leading the way becomes pretty amazing.

lol @ this delusional OKC stan. What year is this, 2013? To mention Harden and Westbrook in the same sentence is an insult to Harden. Harden surpassed him a long time ago.

Durant is still debatable but I'll take Harden going forward. Durant might not even be the same player anymore after the foot injury. As of now, enjoy watching Harden, a player your cheapskate franchise traded for literally scrubs, dominate in the playoffs. :oldlol:
