Horrible and it makes Obama look bad.
Why are you going to have a typical black comedian on?
Looked like a family reunion than a formal dinner.

Greatest President of All-Time.
If you don't love this you've been offended, Obama just doesn't give AF about anything anymore. He's just enjoying his time as president. I wouldn't be surprised to see him at either Raptors/Wizards Game 4, Cavaliers/Bulls, or the NBA Finals.
First and last black president there will ever be over there, he sure set the path and backpedaled back to kenya

"After the midterm elections, my advisers asked me, 'Mr. President, do you have a bucket list?'".
"And I said, well, I have something that rhymes with bucket list..." ...
"Take executive action on immigration? Bucket!"
"New regulations? Bucket!"
sounded funnier than it reads.
actually pretty fukcing edgy for a stuffy setting like the WHCD.

I honestly don't know how anyone can find that funny in the slightest... Had to turn it off as soon as that clown started screaming. Obama really is the greatest American demagogue since FDR, and neither of them ever made the mistake of overestimating the intelligence of the American people - to their great benefit.

Really? FDR a demagogue? He is the 2nd greatest president ever with the moves he made.
-brought USA out of great depression
-placed right generals in power during WW2
-started Manhattan Project that made the Japs surrender to USA & allies instead of the Soviets who were brutal. Imagine if Japs had surrendered to Soviets
-social, labor, and civil changes for the better
-unemployment went from 25% to 2%
-created tons of new jobs
-brought USA closer to other countries that had things like world class Navy (UK), air-force, other resources etc that the USA could adopt on their way to the top
-fostered huge global trade agreements w/ long-term globalization impacts
-pushed for creation of the UN and couple other massive global organizations that will have a global impact for many many decades
I can go on and on. He is hardly a demagogue with the changes he made to make this nation the wealthiest and most powerful in the world with most powerful military ever under his guidance.

Yes, he was a most disgraceful demagogue, though one of the most effective in all of history. Your list of his 'achievements' is clear testament to his effectiveness in this regard, considering almost none of them are even close to being true.
The man is more responsible than anyone else for turning a recession into a decade-long depression. Sure, unemployment went down to 2%, but because the country was at war, not because of FDR :oldlol: . Before the war, unemployment remained at unprecedentedly high levels, despite the insane amounts of spending and complete dismantling of constitutional restraints. He spent soooo much money, and it did almost nothing to lower the unemployment rate.
Yes, his incredibly inflated reputation (despite repeated failures and unlawful actions) shows how great a demagogue he was.
Here's some other things he did:
- Campaigned for election setting himself against the profligacy of the Hoover administration: he promised to reign in spending, and won on that belief (documented in his message to congress, which was a scathing attack on Hoover and a promise to reduce salaries and government expenses).
- Far from living up to this promise, he ended up spending more money than all the 31 Presidents preceding him, combined (3 times more, in fact). Despite this incredible spending, the depression showed no signs of abating until the war and after, which left the US as almost the sole industrial nation that had maintained its productive capacity (Europe ruining itself through war had little to do with FDR).
- No President worked as hard as he to extend the power of the executive branch, undermining the balance of power on which the nation's political structure was built. The abuses of Nixon could not have happened without the precedent of FDR.
- He was an egomaniac who wanted all the glory and credit for himself (used to send the secret service to smash the cameras of anyone who caught a whiff of his invalidity): he deliberately delayed the banking reform of Hoover so he could implement the same policies himself and take credit for them. He knew very little about the economics of banking, and yet wanted to be seen as some genius coming up with panaceas all on his lonesome.
- Approved one of the most disgraceful violations of Constitutional rights with Japanese internment, and never lifted a finger to help push through the anti-lynching bill.
- Packed the Supreme Court so as to force through his agenda.
So you think the establishment of the military-industrial complex and a de facto world Empire as being good things? Funny that, most of the liberals who love FDR are always whining about these things. Involvement in Indo-China and many other places around the world stems from Roosevelt.
This is only a sample off the top of my head - he did many other disgraceful and incredibly demagogic things you would never have heard of studying history at school, something that isn't much more than being indoctrinated with state propaganda. Don't worry, i thought FDR was a great President too, until i actually read about the man, and realised what a master manipulator he was. He wanted to make his mark, and he did. He knew it didn't matter whether the policies actually worked or not, and history has proven him right on this point.
