I never had a mother growing up and I've never done something like that.

JR worked extremely hard in the gym with his father. Harder than most people ever work in their lives. He earned that jumper and every bit of the paychecks he gets.

JR is dumb but that was ensured at birth...his family keep JR very sheltered throughout his childhood and he was a good kid. He just went crazy when the money hit...they aren't a bad family.
