According to this article (http://www.si.com/nba/2015/04/27/nba-stance-socks-licensing-deal), players will only be allowed to wear socks made by Stance as part of a licensing deal, starting next season. Socks are considered an accessory rather than part of a team's uniform.

This tweet contains images of the socks for the Cavs, Heat, Spurs and Warriors (https://twitter.com/novy_williams/status/592749856046895105).

Thoughts?

I'll be interested to see if this is true. I doubt very much players will be willing to sign on for this. First off because they get massive piles of money from their shoe deals and would presumably not get anything for doing this, but even more so because NBA players do NOT **** around with their feet. Most of them wear ~$60 socks that keep their feet cushioned and dry. Messing with feet is like messing with careers.

I'm not a fan of non-white/black socks, but the Heat ones look pretty cool.

I think it's also worth mentioning that there's generic white and black versions of the Stance socks, so I don't think every team will be wearing graphics socks each game.

could be good, Team USA's socks really completed the uniform.

initially thought this was going to be stupid, but those socks are pretty badass......they add much more flare to the entire uniform, unlike those stupid t shirt jerseys
