Despite the fact coach K would never leave Duke, I'm not even sure he would if someone offered him some unrealistic amount of money like 25m/year, that statement is hilarious and sadly true. It's kind of amazing some college athletic programs(like Texas) have more money to spend than most professional teams.

Coach K ain't leaving. He is set for life. NBA coaching jobs are fickle and it could hurt his reputation.

I don't think he will ever leave Duke but if anyone has a chance is a team with 2 top 5 players. I don't think OKC's owners are willing to spend that much thought.

LOL, Coach K will NEVER leave Duke. They gonna have to carry his ass out on a stretcher. He'll never give up the power he has at Duke.

Why is it amazing? They have free labor.

It's probably more along the lines of Coach K inquiring on his interest in or commitment to Rio, and maybe help gauge his recovery for said tournament.

Would love him coaching OKC though, he has a great ability to manage egos.

Lakers offered Coach K a 5 year 75 million dollar deal with full GM duties and he turned it down. He's never coming

The day Coach K leaves Duke for NBA glory is the day I'll get a BJ from a supermodel on my way to collecting the mega million jackpot.
