So many times he rushes plays and looks of out control. For example that play when Duncan blocked him there was like three Spurs around him he should have passed the ball.

I don't know why they are pushing hero ball like it is a good thing.

Too jacked

Moves like a steroid junkie on the block... No flow or finesse... No footwork

He seriously needs to take some dancing lessons to learn rhythm and technique

he forces it hoping it will go in. unfortunately, this isn't 2K.

i think because most of the time, he can force it and it works.

frustration can also get to you...

Another thing that hurts him is he has short arms for his height. He is 6'10 and his wingspan is 6'11. Zach Randolph who is 6'9 has a wing span of 7,4.

Maybe he can't see well. He has a hint of down syndrome in his crossed eyes.

Just a matter of keeping a cool head, court awareness, staying controlled... which BG still lacks late game.

He looked fizzled in that 4th quarter, I looked at him and I could see every miss coming. Ironically his best chance at a make was erased by a teammate.

How many times I gotta tell people this?

He plays the way he does because of his length disadvantage. He has to go quick, he has to play somewhat wild and unpredictable, because he cant just stand in the paint and go up over people. Other guys at similar heights like Alrdridge or Randolph have longer arms that release the ball at a higher peak.

Griffin has to maneuver awkwardly to keep from getting blocked. He would be much much more effective playing off a post-up big. He and DJ are not a good pair IMO. They both play better as bigs who cut, finish, putback etc. and would do better playing as the compliment to a legit post presence. They're still effective to the degree they are because it gives the Clips two big men who can run the break like swingmen simultaneously, which very few teams have. Paul, Blake and DJ is fun to watch run up and down, but the fact is, possessions and the end of close games usually dont end up like that. And in the halfcourt game, theyre simply not an ideal pairing.

Guess someone beat me to it.

But this is the answer. Hes not uncoordinated. Hes not a "choker." Hes just not physically built to be the post-man in last minute possessions. He doesnt have enough length to create easy passing lanes or jump hook opportunitiesz

Constantly fighting his instinct to flop.

And frequently failing at fighting the urge.
