Just heard it on houston radio which quoted it as coming from dallas radio. apparently, the share is voted on at the end of the playoff run every year and divided up among the players. some get more than others although they also set aside $ for trainers, ball boys etc.

also, they probably treat the playoff share like a year end bonus. it's expected but not guaranteed.

Mavs gambled on Rondo, and lost. Just the nature of the game. I honestly didn't see how he was going to work out anyway. He hasn't been anywhere near the player he was before he hurt himself. He's always been a shell of his former self and more and more it looks like he benefited from having 3 future Hall of Famers around him. Houston is just damn good. I'm a huge Mavs fan but I gotta call it like I see it. With Howard and Harden both healthy and tuned in they are going to be tough to beat.
