Another potential prize summer target for the Mavs: Clippers center DeAndre Jordan, who multiple sources say has made it clear through back channels that he will be extremely interested in coming to Dallas. Signing the 26-year-old Jordan, a dominant physical force who led the league in rebounding and field-goal percentage this season, would mean letting the 32-year-old Chandler leave again after another one-season stint with the Mavs.

"That's up to management and what they decide to do," Chandler said of his possible future in Dallas as he enters free agency, adding that his preference would be to return to the Mavs.

This report made right after the Spurs loss. Seems like DeAndre is quitting on the Clippers.

On paper, a team with Dirk, Monte, Chandler, Parsons and Jordan looks pretty damn promising...

Buuut, we all know how that can sometimes turnout;

Mavs need toughness and defense.

I'd love that, but I doubt it happens. Usually we fail to get the players we covet, or we have to severely overpay them (parsons).

Rockets would lose their advantage. :applause:

I love DJ's defense and rebounding (and alley oops) yet I feel like it's becoming time to pair Dirk with a more offensively inclined center... (if they exist)... Somebody with more of a post game than a DJ or Tyson Chandler... It's a long shot, but if they can get Horford or Aldridge and push them to Center it'd be pretty sick... Maybe they operate in the midrange alot too, but would still be sick

Him with a veteran Dirk would be sick.

the Spurs should trade Splitter and sign DeAndre Jordan.

Tony Parker / Patty Mills
Danny Green / Manu Ginobili
Kawhi Leonard / Marco Bellineli / Kyle Anderson
Tim Duncan / Boris Diaw
DeAndre Jordan / Aron Baynes / Matt Bonner

possible 3-peat if they win again this year.

The headhunter Parsons will recruit DeAndre for the Mavs. Then Cuban will chop Parsons

I should've stopped reading at "sources"

DeAndre vs Popovich 4 times a year? Brace yourselves, the hack is coming.

That's why you should be skeptical.
