back in the day, id get good ones brand new for $100

$80 seems like a rip off for a used one

This fits my memories from the 90s, but someone would likely know better.

Go new. It's always funner to customize your board. It's not that much more depending what style you want

Never heard of orange. Seems steep to me as a brand new name brand deck used to be about 90-120 australian when i skated. I bought a set up board a couple years back for 120, nice zero deck but shitty zero trucks and bearings i swapped out. Would have been fine if your just starting though. If you do but used make damn sure it isn't chipping already or puffed up around the kicks. Check for stress cracks from the truck holes too and check the rubbers aren't ****ed

seems high

you can buy a brand new mini-logo deck (my fav) for like $30 and then add trucks/wheels/bearing etc for around $80 total

im talking about street skateboards so if its a longboard it could be different

Aren't skateboards cheap as hell so why buy a used one?

I've never heard of Orange skateboards either. I wouldn't pay 80 bucks for something I've never heard of, sounds like those cheap no name type skateboards they sell at like Wal Mart and shit.

Back when I skated, a brand name deck alone would cost at least 60 bucks, and then another 50-60 overall on trucks, wheels and bearings.

If you could get a good brand name (Almost, Plan B, Element, Blind, Alien Workshop, Girl to name a few) with everything included for 80-100 then I think you're doing pretty good but I wouldn't gamble with the company personally.
