I think both teams beat the Rockets in round 2, but I don't see the Clippers getting past the Spurs.

I don't think rockets will beat either team.
Best chance they have is against the clippers

Probably higher than most realize. They have the star power to match the Clippers and the depth to match San Antonio.

I'm one of those who would much rather play the Spurs than the Clippers.
The Spurs will have to out defend, because they sure aren't out scoring the Rockets.
The Clippers could do it either way.

I think I might've underestimated the Rockets. Primarily because they have two very good and athletic wing players in Ariza and Brewer. Being a Laker fan, I know how much of an impact Ariza can have as he was a huge factor in our 2009 title run. The guy can defend and hit the 3. And Brewer had a great season and had some dominant games. There is always value in basketball when you have these type of athletic wing players that can impact the game on both ends.
Howard has also been beasting. And Josh has really played well too. I really wouldn't be shocked one bit if Houston beats either team. They have a nice mix of talent that seems to compliment each other. And I didn't even mention Harden yet. He is obviously "the man" and they will only go as far as he can take them.

The Spurs scored 104, 110, and 110 in their 3 wins against Houston this season. When Houston won, they scored 98. The Spurs don't have a problem with outscoring Houston.

I like how the Rockets have looked. I think they can beat either team, but I have a feeling McHale will get badly out-coached by Popovich.

I highly doubt the Clippers will be in the second round, but you never know.
However, if Howard keeps playing like he has been, I think the Rockets have a chance against the Spurs. Kawhi can lock down Harden, but outside of Duncan, the Spurs have no serviceable big to man the paint. Duncan may be a vampire/cyborg, but if Dwight's athleticism is even close to back, he will have a field day in the paint, on both offense and defense.
Rockets/Spurs will be an interesting series, though I still think the Spurs win in 5/6, but it could end up closer than that.
People are not giving the Rockets any credit...and I don't even like the Rockets!

Rockets have a big hole at point guard. TP/CP3 will destroy Jason Terry. Rockets better put some kind of trust in Nick Johnson or Tony/CP3 will have a field day.

TP has been crap.
A shitty TP is still better than current Terry, Johnson, and Prigioni.

Terry is shooting 47% from deep during the playoffs.
That instantly makes him better than TP, considering TP is shooting 36% from the floor, and 0% from 3pt range.

Spurs can easily stop teams with only one franchise player. Dwight will have to dominate if Rockets hope to win vs Spurs.
