He's not that good. If you want a spot up shooter you would be better off with Danny Green who is playing his way right out of San Antonio.

Also, Phil would def overpay at that rate. Meeks got what, $6.5M per year last summer and we thought he/his agent duped SVG.

You don't spend money on shooters as part of a rebuild, you get your core pieces in place then add shooters.

regardless he is vastly underpaid in san antonio and he's not leaving unless he gets paper. I dont think SA has the resources to give him what he deserves with having to pay all their other players. I would gladly give him the full mle if thats all it takes.
