He should have been #1 pick. Cavs picked Anthony Bennett.

Damn, the Wolves would have ended up with Wiggins and Noel:banana:

Only dude who was adamant on Pelicans f*cking up without hindsight like some of you was DMAVS. The rest of you get no props. Get off Noel nutsac.

No telling they would have even drafted Payton.

LOOOL. Yeah, if the Cavs were better, Minnesota might have Wiggins/Noel with Okafor/KAT incoming.

Though obviously if they had Noel instead of Bennet, he wouldn't have been some afterthought throw in....or maybe he would, can never tell with Cavs management.

The only thing that makes up for the Pelicans screwing up the Block Party is the thought that the 76'ers putting Embiid and Noel out on the floor together.

No telling they would have even drafted Payton.Sure, but that's where their draft pick was last offseason...I doubt they would have rolled with only Tyreke full-time at PG considering their plan after signing him was to play him at SF for at least a considerable portion of his minutes.

At the very least they could have flipped him to Magic anyway for same assets that 76ers got...

Edit:

Huh? ExplainHe's saying the NBA fans in general were robbed of opportunity to see a NOP Block Party with AD/Noel, but people at least can look forward to seeing the potentially defensive monster pairing of Noel/Embiid...

Cavs would have been so much better off with..

Kyrie Irving
J.R. Smith / Iman Shumpert
Andrew Wiggins
LeBron James / Tristan Thompson
Nerlens Noel / Timofey Mozgov

run-n-gun team that creates a bunch of turnovers on D and the ability to slow it down and go big with this lineup

Kyrie Irving
Andrew Wiggins / Iman Shumpert
LeBron James / J.R. Smith
Nerlens Noel / Tristan Thompson
Timofey Mozgov

Yep, bingo. I was so psyched when Noel got drafted to New Orleans to see that big man duo in action. I love seeing a dominant twin towers front court and I believe Noel can form 1 half of that. If he can't be paired with Davis, he and Embiid is a nice consolation prize haha
