Instead of him waiting for his team to come down and get set so they could drain more clock and possibly extend the lead to 107-102 with 2 mins left, this dumb muther****er rushes a shot and misses allowing the clippers to come back down and tie the game at 105-105.
Parker has been in the league long enough to know that if your team is up 105-102 and you have possession with the game under 3 mins, you don't rush you eat up the shot clock and get a good shot to extend the lead.
So Tony Parker is why the Spurs lost Game 7 because they had the Clippers beat at that point if they was able to get a 2 or 3 pointer.

Incredible that you people decide to pin blame on a player for losing the game every single time. Can't you just for once recognize a great performance by the winning team?

No because the Spurs had them beat, Parker had the ball and his team had the lead and he all of a sudden became clueless on how to close out a game. So yes the lost is on him

Parker f*cked up like 3 or 4 fast breaks like that tonight. At least 2 led to a three on the other end.

Parker has been so bad dating all the way back to the 13 finals...most over-rated player on here the last few years.
People talking like he's more valuable than Duncan...:facepalm

The Spurs as a whole were woeful on the fast break but Parker got a put back on that play anyways.
As the other guy said though, let's just accept that this was a great series between awesome teams and the Clippers came out on top. They made the biggest plays at the end, and in my opinion were the hungrier and better team throughout the series. No need to shit on the loser all the time.

Parker is the PG, had the ball in his hand, and could have slowed down so his teammates could get in position on the offensive end of the floor. Regardless of what Kawh didn't do, at that point of the game when it was 105-102 the win was there for the spurs and parker played a huge role in them blowing it

This is on TP, Pop, Pops beard, KL and Tiago to a smaller degree.
What a ****ing waste.
But yes, this TP play was ridiculous.
Usually he'd slow it but I think Pop thought he had the shot and told him to go for it.
Worst miss.

Oh so it was POP who encouraged him to take that stupid ass shot?

:lol I don't think Parker was looking to Pops on that fastbreak to see what he should do. He was right to push it up court but he should have Nashed it and curled back out the baseline and waited for the team.

I said the same thing as soon as he forced it.

Had that game won with a 3 point lead and 2 minutes left in the game...

Had the same reaction when the play occurred. Didn't see the benefit even if you score the bucket. Pull it out and take some time off the clock and try to get a good shot. But I understand his mindset. He's been getting those buckets for years and it's almost automatic sometimes when you've been doing something for so long.

It's not like he went 1 vs 5 on a crazy fastbreak. It was Tony Parker on full speed against a standing JJ Redick,no other clipper had returned, thought it was a good decision,he just missed.
