If a team wins 3 in a row, they automatically win the series. For example, if one team goes up 3-0 they automatically advance, or if one team goes up 2-0, but then the other team wins 3 in a row they automatically win the series. i think this would make the playoffs more exciting.

actually, it would give every series the possibility of 5 elimination games. if one team goes up 2-0, game 3 would be an elimination game, then if the other team ties it at 2-2, then game 5 would be an elimination game, and if the other team wins then game 6 is an elimination, and if the series is tied at 3-3, then theres the 5th elimination game.

Leave it at 7 and put the 16 best teams in the league into the playoffs. Best teams always win a 7 game series not true of a 5 game series
