See Hawks/Wiz. Wiz have 3 star-power players. ATL has none

Even the Spurs and Pistons had guys they could get the ball in crunchtime and role-players weren't jacking up shots just because (Hey Korver)

Chauncey and Rip were closer to stars as far as scoring than anyone on this ATL team

Teamball and stars are not mutually exclusive, 2012 Heat had fantastic ball movement and 2 stars, countless examples over the years.

Also, just last year the Spurs won with not a single star, just good role players.

But, in the case of the Hawks, they do look overmatched against the Wiz, who also play good teamball.

Even the Spurs know when to feed Tim or clear out for Parker. ATL just keeps jacking 3s even when they aren't going

I've said this for months. Wall is a star whether anyone wants to admit it or not. Hawks have zero stars. This was over from the jump.

Without Wall Bullets would have struggled to win 25 games in a season.

OP makes this thread after one random game in the second round??

:lol :facepalm

Also: Stars can play teamball too, genius.

Tell that to your team about to be 0-2 at home. He can be inconsistent at times, but will destroy Teague all series long.

And you're still a mediocre basketball team with him. It doesn't really matter.

Beating shit teams like Toronto and Atlanta is not going to impress many.

Hell, the Hawks had a billion chances and couldn't make any type of shot.

What did they shoot.... 16% in the 4th? Even if we say Washington played good defense.... 16%? That's bad shit right there. The Wizards would get swept in the west.

They barely got by the Brooklyn Nets. Any of the west teams would EASILY depose of the Wizards. The Wizards aren't shit. Did they even win 50 games in the leastern conference?:lol

And that's some kind of accomplishment? They barely got by the Brooklyn Nets. A team that shouldn't have even been in the playoffs.

Atlanta is shit and this game was proof of it. Just like the mostly shit play against Brooklyn. Low quality basketball.

Korver sucks ass. He sure does miss an awful lot of shots for someone that is supposed to be a shooter.

I seem to recall the 2008 championship Celtics struggling with a 37 win Hawks team and a 45 win Cavs team. Even the Spurs great run they had last year, they got took to 7 games by the 8th seeded Mavs.

Low seeds step up their game in the playoffs, especially those with veterans on their team.

The Celtics destroyed the Hawks in Boston. Only the games in Atlanta were competitive. The Hawks are continuing this same level of play in this series. A really good first period with only suckage to follow.

This Hawks team is maxing out in the first or second round just like the Hawk teams before.

It was finally time to put that whole "Well, the 2008 Celtics strugged with a 37 win team" to bed.

I don't see one facet of the game where Washington has an advantage this series

Until the Hawks get a legit superstar, I will never expect them to make noise in the playoffs. I can't believe I actually believed this team could do something special. Yeah, you could say it was one game, but this was different than any loss against the Nets. Teague simply could not guard Wall. The Hawks better pray that Beal is hurt cause this series wont go past 5 games.

8-1 on the road in the playoffs and hes not even finished with his 2nd year of the playoffs. Meanwhile the Hawks team has what over 150 plus combined post season experince

The Hawks suck. So, no big deal. Hell, they had to miss nearly every shot they took for Washington to barely pull out the win. That's not something to be impressed with.

Wall is not a star till he wins something.
