Of the 8 teams left in the NBA Playoffs, the most recent titles came from the Bulls (1998) and Rockets (1995).
Also, only one of them has even MADE an NBA Finals since '98 (2007 Cavs),
The Spurs/Lakers/Heat made one of every NBA Finals for the last 16 years, and with 2 of them missing the playoffs/Spurs going down last night, we're guaranteed a pair of fresh new faces on the NBA's biggest showcase.
Combine that with last year's conference finalists not around this year and only TWO of last year's second round teams still being around (Clippers/Wizards), we're going to have a pair of fresh new dance partners.
