yeah, its a pretty shithole town. I have a Grandma in law who lives there and the middle class/ working class neighborhoods are pretty much shitholes these days. I do kinda like Fremont street, but the strip feels like white trash disney land. Buncha fatties and fake landmarks, M&M stores, etc. What a bunch of worthless shit. Granted, I have never high rolled in vegas (have a hs buddy who is a bigwig entertainment lawyer/manager and he clearly does vegas right), but thats not really my style anyways.

Yup. Vegas is a theme part for adults. Maybe fun to visit when you are early 20's but it loses its appeal quickly.

Took a trip to Area 51 at night. This is a tourist trap in Rachel, NV.

Driving to Area 51 by yourself at night is scary. There's a good stretch of highway that has free range cattle just walking across the road. I was busting for a piss, and I kept seeing these eyes on the side of the road watching me, so I didn't stop. I took the above photo when I had to slam on my brakes, doing about 70/80 mph, and saw figures on the road. Turned out to be a bunch of free range cattle just playing night chicken on the road...


Anyway, there's a lot to do. Even hitting up Hoover's Dam. You can see part of the Grand Canyon as well, not so far, or go blow stuff up at multiple gun ranges.

Vegas. I already live in Florida, so another beach city really isn't that big of a deal to me, though I did do south beach when I was living in Ohio and on spring break from college, and had a blast.
