Need scorers off the bench. Main problem with the Heat is they don't have much scoring. They would stay years without score a basket this season and the other team went on runs, it got worst without Bosh but even with him things weren't going well.
I think Whiteside with his head straight can take care of the defense.

You can pretty much blame Spo for most of those problems, but I do agree. This would improve if we had decent spacing, so an improvement in three point shooting would likely have the same impact as a 'scorer'.

Bosh is also a year older and probably out of his prime now and likely to regress slowly

Dragic most defenitely regressed last season and will be a year Older again and likely to regress more

Deng is super inconsistent and not young either

Whiteside defenitly has potential to improve again after his break out season

It will be hard for the Heat to be above:

Cavs, Bulls, Hawks(in no order), after that, then you have Wizards, Pacers, Toronto, Bucks.

The East will look the best it has been for quite a while. Still have the Hornets, Pistons, Celtics, Nets with that bunch too.

East could start looking like the West in the next 2-5 years. 12 teams could be competing next season for 8 spots in the East.

As a Miami fan, would be happy with Top4.

I'm hoping the Heat don't catch the injury bug again next season- this could be a really fun team to watch, assuming Dragic re-ups, they have a good draft, and they use their exceptions well. I've seen Stanley Johnson on some mocks going to the Heat, who could be a nice player. Don't think he'll be a superstar, but he should be pretty good. I'd target Brooks and Ed Davis as bench sparkplugs.
