Unless their core stars retiring and they don't add Aldridge or Marc Gasol.

SPURS IS NEVER A DYNASTY :lol

they are a dynasty in their own right...they've had the same core, 5 titles and about 15 years at winning 50+ games consecutively. the most resilient team in all of sports under the Pop/TD collab

Nope. Look up the definition of dynasty, key work is succession and consecutive. Spurs were NEVER a dynasty

succession and consecutive reign is their foundation to everything except titles...even which they've been apart of 5 in the timespan, just not repetitive.

some will see it as titles being the tell-all to it, but to have about 15yrs atop the league, even at this stage in many of the core components careers is pretty amazing, dynasty worthy IMO

I think perhaps the most impressive thing about San Antonio as a franchise is that they have never missed the playoffs in consecutive years in their entire history. Even going back to their ABA years. I believe they are the only team in the league for this to never happen to.

Spurs = the only defending champion to get praise AFTER getting bounced in the first round. :wtf:

easy to see it that way without any context behind it

there's no reason why this over the hill group should be contending the way they have over the past 3yrs...yet they do, and for that they do get praise. consistency is hard to maintain, and they've perfected it for about 15yrs now

Pretty much this. CP3 is one of the greatest basketball players of all time. And still there's few tiers between him and Duncan.

What did CP3 do after he won his titles... oh wait... after he loses in the playoffs every year he probably celebrates by kicking someone in the balls.. dirty bitch.

Clippers fans almost as bad as Atlanta Hawks fans. The clippers have been an embarrassment of a franchise for the better part of my entire life... the NBA gives them a free all star (Chris Paul) and an owner with unlimited money, then win 1 playoff series against one of the classiest teams to step on the court, and the first thing the fans want to do is talk shit.

Anyone who is a fan of someone who is such a tiny puss that he hits people in the nuts all the time deserve that kicked-in-the-nuts feeling in their stomach every year when Chris Paul takes his team back home again without a title.

damn clippers and hawks fans should ease back till u have 2 good seasons in a row for once.

What does a good season qualify as exactly ? Getting to the 2nd round ?

So, the Hawks in 09-11 had 3 good seasons.... the Clippers in 3 of 4 years in a tougher conference had good seasons.

Unless a good season means getting to the Conference Finals-Finals and/or winning it all.
