I don't see how anybody could put those in any other order. Casino Royale is top 5 easily, but more like top 3. Quantum of Solace is somewhere in the bottom half. Skyfall is in the upper half, and makes a run at top 5.

Loved both Skyfall and Casino Royale, kind of a toss up for me. Probably would give the edge to Skyfall just because of Roger Deakins' cinematography.

Quantum of Solace was garbage though. Just filler in between the two.

i never saw skyfall, but i saw the other two and was not impressed.

they dont really feel like bond movies. its like they are just generic action films where the protagonist happens to be named james bond.

I dunno man...the whole premise of the movie was the leaked agents list, but they never even said what happened to it. The movie forget what it was about.

Even worse was...Bond's plan was to lure the villain to M intentionally...without backup or weapons...soooo...

Why doesn't he lure the villain to the old house without M actually being there? Why does M physically have to be there? And when she's gonna get away anyway, she pulls out a ****ing flashlight in the dark and the bad guys see her...****ing retarded man...this person runs M6 and she doesn't know how to stay hidden in the dark?

The movie really irked me...so many plotholes too on top of unrealistic scenarios man...I couldn't enjoy it.

They have the bad guy trapped but don't think to put him in physical restraints and they decide to plug the bad guy's computer into their network? What the ****? lol

To me Casino Royale > Skyfall. Haven't seen Quantum Solace. I remember my friends talking about it when it came out but none of them highly recommended watching it. So I didn't bother. Casino Royale was just really fun to watch. My friend watched it twice in theaters because he really liked it. As did I.

Skyfall wasn't my taste. And the Grand Bazaar scene was way too reminiscent of another good film, The International. I thought it was a solid 7.5 movie. The ending really made no sense... all the explosives and careless execution by apparently a more talented agent than James Bond is kind of dumb.

I did hear Quantum Solace wasn't BAD but wasn't GOOD either.

casino royale is an all-time classic bond film. up there with the likes of dr. no and goldfinger. skyfall is kind of overrated and QotS is just in the middle of the pack bond film.

The trick is to watch Quantum of Solace IMMEDIATELY prior. Treat it as the 2nd half of Casino Royale.

Skyfall visually stunning but lacked a driven focused plot

I agree with this about Skyfall. It's like a gorgeous sequence of set pieces, but it doesn't completely come together (which I suppose could be said for the genre as a whole). For that reason I like Casino just a bit better, and Solace is really not as bad as it's made out to be, but it's still easily the worst of the group.

I loved Skyfall because it was set in my home country (although not filmed there). I didnt liks Skyfall that much because Istanbul was my favorite city and the way they shot that train scene really put me off. One minute they were in the Bazaar and then the next they were out in the Anatolian wilderness.
China?

I honestly don't even remember what Quantum was about. I vaguely remember it as a dull action movie with terrible writing because Craig was improvising a lot of his lines.

Skyfall and Casino Royale are two of the best bond films though.
