He was just on PTI. Tony asked him to make sure the Bulls don't win, and Silver said that he would be rooting for the refs. gg Bulls fans
Also:
He questions the point of divisions at the moment, says fans don't really care about them
Said he doesn't want to force coaches to play their stars (in reference to Pop); they may try to cut down on back-to-backs so payers don't have to sit out as much
Ratings don't go down when teams decide to hack-a-player; he doesn't plan to do anything about it so hit those free throws
Isn't going to fix the draft to punish tankers because owners don't want to
I forgot the rest. The podcast should be up soon.

We've seen your predictions, so I can't trust anything you say.

Gut says that the divisions shouldn't [won't] change. He's not ready to go one through sixteen.
Bird and Jordan say that scrubs have to hit their free throws. People don't tune out during the hacking free throws. He's reluctant to make that change. He doesn't think it will come quickly.
Silver doesn't think Sixers' tanking is a disgrace. He wanted to decrease the chance of the lowest seed getting the top pick, but the owners wouldn't budge.
Silver doesn't like Pop sitting players (as a fan), but he's reluctant to do anything through legislation. He doesn't want to have any minimum minutes.
At least he confirmed that he roots for the refs [to rig correctly]. :applause:

Well, that is contrary to everything we have been hearing.

Unless I misheard twice, that's what he said. You can listen to the podcast now if you want. :confusedshrug:

Confirmed. Silver said he's reluctant to change the hack-a-shaq rules.
