I'm actually livid w/ this news. SMH.

Did something happen after game 7 where his injury became worse? Clips can't afford this dude NOT to play in any game.

Damn this sucks. How long will he be out?Sounds game to game. Tough decision, play him and hope he doesn't tear it up so bad he's out until next fall or rest him and hope the team can hold on tight until he gets back

They better not trying resting him till game 3....:facepalm Clippers need one of these two first games or the series is pretty much over....

Clippers have no chance to be honest. Austin Rivers and Jamal Crawford playing point.

I remember he was wincing after his game-winner. The fact he actually had a pulled hammy makes it an even more legendary shot

Hope he's back for game 2

If they knew the injury was so serious, why not sit him out in Game 7 vs. us? Tunnel visioned beating the defending champs in the first round just to get swept in the second. It would of been within the spirit of competition to just bow out gracefully. Instead now the Rockets get an easy out en route to giving the Warriors an easy out. Well played, Clippers.

Well played... :coleman:

he played pretty damn well last time i saw him :confusedshrug:

very surprised that he's sitting out.. if you were healthy enough to hit the game winner last game how are you not healthy enough to play the next game?

Isiah dropped 40+ in a finals game and could barely walk.. come on Chris this is the playoffs :coleman:

They're a team of stupid mother****ers.
Round 1 is basically a championship to them, did you see the little bitch crying?

Has anyone else ever cried after winning round 1?

its more bearable to play through injuries when they first occur during the course of the game because the adrenaline is pumping.

the worst of the injury is felt the morning after.

I know people that were able to finish a game with a torn acl just fine.

A lot of these critics never touched a ball before. I dislocated my shoulder playing football, ended up finishing the game but couldn't play another game after that till I had surgery.

Doc's holding him out. Said he didn't even consult CP3 on the decision, only the medical staff, b/c he knew Paul would insist on playing. Rather get him a couple extra days' worth of rest/treatment so he's hopefully healthier the rest of the series.

I'm gonna LOL if Rivers plays 30 mins though.

I expect Blake to show up but he can have the best game of his life and they wont win. Clips PG rotation is Austin/Hudson lmao

IT'S OK DOC GOT THEM AUSTIN RIVERS...the most fringe-NBA player to ever get 20+ MPG in 4 seasons.

30% 3-PT shooter and that's his absolute best asset!

Get 'em.
