Cavaliers won't go far unless they surround him with talent.

So, remove LeBron from the team and tell me they win the east. I'm actually generous. (Are they even making the playoffs?) :confusedshrug:

No.

Of course not. Kyrie has already lost Kevin Love and JR for 2 games. He can't lose the second, sometimes third, best player on the team as well. You and I are on the same page.

Yet LeBron averages 27.0 PPG 9.0 RPG 6.5 APG compared to 23 PPG 5.0 RPG 4.3 APG for Kyrie.

Damn. I guess the Bran Stan's brought this upon themselves and its satisfying for you guys but....Kobe had the best player in the NBA on his team for 60% of its titles. It's just funny to see Lebron get outplayed for a single game and see the reactions of the haters.

It's also funny to see how ghost the Stans are.

What does this thread have to do with Kobe?

^Against the Celtics LOL

Kyrie has 30 right now. Lebron has 19.

30 is more than 19.

This was 15 years ago and is about Kobe Bryant who is not the subject of this thread. Thank you for your contribution though. Duly noted.

The only reason Kyrie has looked so good on offense this season is because Lebron is distracting the defense for him. We saw what Kyrie did as "the guy" in previous seasons, and it wasn't pretty.

looks to me like iman has been a solid 2nd option for kyrie.

It's the other way around.

And Kyrie wasn't playing with 2 all stars in previous seasons and is early in his career.

In Batman: Year One. Batman struggled to fight off the GCPD in the climactic scene. We all know how he turned out.

He already have his Pippen = Shumpert and Grant = Lebron. Not enough to beat the Bulls tho.

Grants post game > Lebrons. Bron is like a much worse defensive version of Rodman.

Silly thread. Sillier post.

Not too many guys could have gone far with a starting five that included Dion Waiters, Earl Clark, Tristan Thompson and Andrew Bynum.

And, Kyrie was 21 to boot.

This Cavaliers season can be summed up this way... underwhelming start, incredible run for several months, the rug pulled out in Game 4 of the first round.

I didn't recognize this team I watched tonight.

i agree.

Kyrie can't do it all himself. if his teammates keep disappointing him like this he just might leave Cleveland

They didn't appreciate Love when they had him.

Who didn't? I've been very vocal in pointing out how key just his presence is on the floor for our floor spacing. That isn't even mentioning that he'd be able to matchup with one of the Bulls bigs defensively and not give up much if any size.

Not having JR is big too, though. It's not just about all of the things he does, but having him on the floor would mean that we could play Shumpert at the 3 and actually have a pretty nice, all-around lineup to close games (Irving, JR, Shump, LeBron, TT/Mozgov).

Without JR, we're seeing Delly out there down the stretch and that is just not going to work against a balanced team like Chicago.

The other thing is that JR is an underrated defensive player who could help slow down Rose and/or Butler in stretches... giving guys like Kyrie and Shumpert time to catch their breath on the defensive end.

This forum has really just become a joke, I dont even come here for relevant conversations because only about 5% of people here understand the game
