He has been horribly inconsistent this year scoring the ball, as seen in his huge drop is all around shooting percentages. Combine that with his career worse turnovers, and it's been a bad year for him.

Honestly Kyrie is the best offensive player on the Cavs this year, and it's showing when the games matter most (in the playoffs).

can't even make it past round 2 in a historically shit conference unless his team is uber stacked. And this is an all time great?

sad.

he's reached that stage where he has to pace himself during games. he's a smart guy. he'll adjust and be better the rest of the series.

There were like 3 made jumpers in that 5-7 start. Don't think he made a single one after that. Chicago's staying back and daring him to shoot. If he can't make 'em at a decent clip, then this will be a short series.

It shouldn't be a surprise that good defensive teams figure out Lebron's simple 3-and-D game, just like a skilled boxer quickly figures out his simpler opponent.

That's what happens when you don't have a good post or mid-range game - that's very unfortunate for Lebron fans, because pull-up and turnaround 2-pointers are the shots the defense cannot prevent or stop: a defense can cut-off penetration, but mid-range shots aren't trying to penetrate.. A defense can contest super-hard to plummet the accuracy of a 3-pointer, but a good mid-range shooter is immune to this..

The inevitable nature of mid-range shot attempts is why mid-range shots give a team the best chance to get off a shot against dialed-in defenses.. Naturally, the greatest and most dominant players of all time were all great post and/or mid-range players - every single one.. Their mid-range and post ability gave them their unstoppable, inevitable quality.. Lebron doesn't have this quality, which is why he will always fall short of the greats.

Excellent post.

Love's injury is a huge factor, without Love there is no spacing and easy penetrations for Bron. Karma for Cavs fans that underrated him.

MJ never needed three snipers around him to get to the rim and score at will. then again thats why Jordan is Jordan and LeBron is LeBron.

lol I know, your name just got me thinking about that. a damn shame that lebron is sold as this eras jordan when he's already showing signifcant signs of decline at age 30, which was what, the middle of Jordan's playoff dominance?

Only insecure Jordan fans are worried about the "2nd coming of MJ", nor Kobe nor Lebron have been even close to MJ. The closest to MJ was Shaq in his peak and was awesome to see.

I admit that I really like Kobe and Bron (before the collusion) but LOL at the fans that overrate them at the MJ level.

I, as Jordan fan, will be the most excited with a player equal or better than MJ, greatness/GOATness is always well received.

This is what I first thought watching the game, without someone to stretch the floor he doesn't have the quickness he used to to get to the rim.

LeBald just doesnt have the supreme stamina that is needed to go all out. He needs to save some in the tank.

He did the same thing in last years finals.

Lebron declined a lot this year. 2009-2010 LeBron would have killed this Bulls team easily.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3o4JDxQ0IE8

He had games like that on a regular basis during the playoffs. He doesn't have the same stamina anymore. He was basically a bigger Westbrook.

His body movements looked a lot smoother back then, even in his Miami days it wasn't bad. This year he just looks like a robot. There is just something wrong with him.

Young LeBron:bowdown:  He declined so much athletically when he isn't hitting the jumper, he can't take over games like he used to. He looked pathetic out there today...
