1. Davis (This guy is incredible)
2. Lebron
3. Durant (He's off of injury, but may rise to 2 if Lebron regresses a bit)
4. Harden
5. Curry (Klay outperforms him 1/3 of the season)
Forgot about Westbrook, but he's probably at 6 unless he outperforms Durant, then swap him at 3.

I'm hurting, baby, I'm broken down
I need your loving, loving
I need it now
When I'm without you
I'm something weak
You got me begging, begging
I'm on my knees
I don't wanna be needing your love
I just wanna be deep in your love
And it's killing me when you're away, ooh, baby,
'Cause I really don't care where you are
I just wanna be there where you are
And I gotta get one little taste
Your sugar
Yes, please
Won't you come and put it down on me?
I'm right here, 'cause I need
Little love, a little sympathy
Yeah, you show me good loving
Make it alright
Need a little sweetness in my life
Your sugar
Yes, please
Won't you come and put it down on me?
My broken pieces
You pick them up
Don't leave me hanging, hanging
Come give me some
When I'm without ya
I'm so insecure
You are the one thing, one thing
I'm living for
I don't wanna be needing your love
I just wanna be deep in your love
And it's killing me when you're away, ooh, baby,
'Cause I really don't care where you are
I just wanna be there where you are

Yes, please (yes, please)
Won't you come and put it down on me?
Yeah
I want that red velvet
I want that sugar sweet
Don't let nobody touch it
Unless that somebody's me
I gotta be your man
There ain't no other way
'Cause girl you're hotter than a southern California day
I don't wanna play no games
You don't gotta be afraid
Don't give me all that shy shit
No make-up on
That's my
Sugar
Yes, please
Won't you come and put it down on me (down on me)?
I'm right here (right here), 'cause I need ('cause I need)
Little love, a little sympathy
So, baby, you show me good loving

Last 2 years? He killed it in Miami last year and was 2nd in MVP voting. Harden and Curry finished behind Blake and Noah in MVP votes last year.
Harden and Curry are true superstars now, but they're still a notch below Lebron. They still have suspect defense, but they're right there with scoring and playmaking.

they still have suspect defense yeah but it's not like lebron has been playing inspired on that end of the floor these past 2 years.
LeBron was clearly surpassed by Durant 2 years ago and now guys like Harden, Davis, Curry, etc, are making a strong case of being better and if they can keep getting better while LeBron ages could pass him next year.

You haven't watched playoff Harden in a while. Watch the replay of the game last night and tell me that guy is better than LBJ. Devoured whole by JJ Redick.
He was the best player in the NBA in the playoffs last year. We'll see where he ends up this year. But if you are seriously taking Harden and Davis ahead of him next year you are probably doing it wrong.

def top 5 unless something catastrophic happens. I think Durant is better... Davis is fringe, too young. I like to see people who can perform in the clutch. Yea I know Bron ****s up in the clutch and Davis did some things, but we still dunno how he will do in a high stakes game. It's probably easier to ball out when you are getting blown out than play well in a close game.
Curry is a beast, but he's not better than Bron as an impact player. Westbrook is a headcase. Harden same as Curry. Griffin is mentally weak half the time.
I mean, some of those guys could take over Bron, but odds are that not enough of them will make the jump to push him top 5.
I still think Bron is great, but it's obvious he's not as good. And it's also obvious he's not the 'far and away best' anymore.

Yes. His expectation is still gonna be championship or bust. No one else besides Durant has that on them...maaaaybe CP3. Lebron is definitely not a clear-cut pick next year, but I'll give him the edge due to overall impact and experience.

overall impact? his turnovers have reached absurd levels and his defense is nothing of note.
people really have a hard time moving forward lol, same reason LA went into 2011 as the favorites, same reason miami went into last year as the favorites.
even in the small sample size we got from Durant this year he looked better than LeBron and posted better numbers, and LeBron even intentionally dodged playing the Thunder when Durant was healthy...
And two years ago KD's numbers were just ridiculous and better than LeBron.
And then you have Davis.... kid is unreal.

When LeBron sucks he goes 19/15/9 on 41%.
When Harden sucks he plays ZERO defense and has 9 TOs when facing the juggernaut that is JJ Redick.

No excuses why the 'best' along with a supposed 'secondary' top 10 player shouldn't at least advance to the finals this year {let alone in the Eastern Conference}. Stay consistent with your bullshit kiddo...

Let us not forget that even after the Love injury Cleveland went into the 2nd round as 70% favorites over Chicago.
LeBron's box score last night may not look too bad but watching the game, particularly down the stretch he was garbage on both ends. His turnovers are becoming more and more of a problem as he starts to face actual competition and his indecisiveness late in games is still a problem as it always has been. During the most crucial possession for Cleveland last night LeBron awkwardly dribbled the clock down, found himself in the midrange, rose up to take a jumper, didn't have the confidence to pull the trigger, and then threw the ball away to the Bulls for an easy transition look on the other end...
Not something you see the best players in the league doing in close games like that and it just reinforced my belief that LeBron is going to have to put aside his ego and let Kyrie be the closer if Cleveland wants to contend. You take the shot and live with the results, to just turn it over like that though... throwing away your teams chances at a comeback. Can't be doing that.

Of course you're not gunna admit to Kyrie being a top ten anything, because it completely detracts from your pathetically obvious agenda. Anything to make your butt buddy look pristine.
Grown ass man, probably sleeps with nothing on but a Lebron jersey like a female does a nighty. Probably wears it backwards to ensure the name James is as close to his d1ck as possible.

Curry shot 91 / 53 / 44 this season...
i think more around 43%fg's, 33%threes, 83% ft's
if kobe had the type of team mates curry has his fg% and 3pt% would go up
but allot of damage on that achilles and knees are messing with kobes percentages.. even more than his playstation shot selection ever did
Well he will be retied, probably around 12-18 all time.
Not sure, who knows, he may or may not be playing by then...
...and yes, i can see the logic in going from top 6-9 all-time to top 12-18 all-time by the time he retires, i think thats how all players come in to the league as #1 GOATs and then every year they rank down as they keep recieving accolades, all-nba selections, all-star years, stat totals etc.... that or i think some players get stripped of their accolades if they dont recieve any in a couple of years, so they get ranked down... or something...

People give him the benefit of the doubt because of who he is and what he's accomplished but he hasn't clearly played like the best in the league up to this point. I've never seen him have this many off nights and mediocre performances.
His efficiency has dropped significantly from past seasons and he's not as consistent as he used to be. He's still a beast and one of the best but he hasn't looked like the best player in the league like he did in the previous 6-7 seasons.

With all the super teams and all the injury luck(except this year with love but still has a great team), he has failed pretty badly.
This is supposed to be the best player in the league and an all-time great.
For those failures and favourable opponents etc, Lebron is in jeopardy of being bumped out of the top 10 all time.

Consider the circumstances.
The dude has been the number 1 option since his rookie year in Cleveland. Outside of the 2011 Finals, he was the number 1 option in Miami. He's been to 4 straight Finals. In the last 3 postseasons and Finals (in Miami) he's led his team in points, rebounds, assists and steals.
If he looks like he's losing a step, then it's because logic says he should be after almost 13yrs in the league.
Plus, he just received his 10th straight year of finishing top 5 in league MVP voting.

LeBron was 5th best this year (Curry, Harden, Westbrook, Davis in no order). I'd say he'll drop to 6th or lower next year, seems logical.
He was 7th in PER in the regular season of the heavy-use players. PER used to be branstan's go-to stat. He's just not that good anymore.

I am getting bored with a player that consistently fails when he's the favored party. To quote another poster:
Lebron always loses as the favorite: the state championship in high school, 2004 Olympics, 2006 World Games, 2009 ECF, 2010 ECF, 2011 Finals, 2014 Finals - he was the favorite in all these series and lost..
Even this year 10 of the 15 ESPN experts pick the Cavs to win the Bulls series even after knowing about the Love injury, and they were still favored to win the Ring by the Vegas lines before this series got underway.

maybe lower.. he'll never get another MVP or championship.
the league is passing him by as we speak - the old guard, including the spurs and lebron, are done.
the clippers, rockets, warriors, atlanta and wizards will dominate the next 5 years..
don't get me wrong - lebron will have some long sessions in the situation room with his agent as they try to figure out how their next Big 3 will come together.. but they won't succeed.. Big 3 was a 1-time thing and old news... It shone a brief and misty light.

in almost every series they played in during the EC playoffs they had 3 of the best 4 players on the court
