knickerbockers, their named after a type of pants :facepalm

That is a little bit depressing, Lin isn't Japanese though...

I don't know why knicks fans aren't more angry at the front office and the owner, management always seem content to be mediocre instead of trying to win.

What can the fans do? We're always angry. We either get some new "star", a new coach, or a new GM... But nothing ever changes. They just keep selling us dreams.

Sounds like every other team that hasn't won a title in recent times.

I mean, there has only been 6 (will be 7 this Finals) teams that have won a title since the turn of the 21st century. 9 teams have won the title since the introduction of the since the 3 point line.

It's business first for franchises. Winning a title, which is super hard, is a bonus.

I guess you are right, I'm probably basing my thoughts on the idiots on ish who keep posting how the knicks are going to win a ring when everyone knows their line up is rubbish. It's probably hard too being in a big market, the stadium fills will people even if they aren't real fans.

the best knicks moment was kobe bryants 61 points

the MSG crowd was more into that game than any other i've seen since 1998 when kobe dominated the allstar game

You just barely missed some decent years.

I'm hoping if Orlando can't get the number one pick this year the knicks do and that okafor/towns has a good enough rookie year that they move Carmello the year after and rebuild around some new faces properly. Not sure if they can do that though, their ownership is beyond bad.

That's the saddest thing. Not even great or even good years. Just decent.

Linsanity

It was great while it lasted. Remember going home excited to watch a Knicks game. It wasn't the Knicks organization that failed him, Lin failed the Knicks and the fans. Pulled a slick move knowing they would match and tried to get a bigger deal.

Truly sad he ran back to the rockets in specific.
