On the wide angle replay it looks like he grabbed at it as the whistle was going... if it was any other guy without a face mask, it wouldn't have been a big deal. Hard to say cheap shot... but maybe a bit much... maybe not... the league will say and everyone will argue their case either way.

Maybe he did, maybe he didn't.. fact is there is no way they could definitively say he did do it on purpose and suspend him. Contact was negligible at best too. Conley shouldn't be out there if he can't take a tiny whack like that.

It's not a suspension, but he looked to disguise the contact by collecting his head on the path to getting the ball. :oldlol:


It's noble and brave etc that Conley is playing hurt, but it's a little unfair to expect that the warriors won't be targeting a weakness like that.

As BlazerRed said earlier, it could have been intentional. One of the best ways to get away with something malicious is to make it look natural or a part of a separate innocent action.

As a result, I don't think there's any way to tell Green's intent here. If it was unintentional, cool. If it was intentional, he did too good of a job masking it to avoid any level of punishment.

I think it was overly aggressive, but I don't think Green intended to hit Conley in the face. No suspension, no tech. Just shitty luck for Conley. It's basketball, it happens. Maybe the basketball Gods will respond by taking control of Zbo's elbow and bash Steph Curry in the face with it unintentionally.

I believe it was on purpose, too much of a coincidence, but I'm not sure it is enough evidence for suspension.
