to be fair, he's not nearly competent enough with the life equation to rewrite the source code without nearly killing himself... besides, i'd be more than happy to simply have the typical white lantern skills of being able to channel any colour of the emotional spectrum :pimp:

In my matchup Loki is one of the few people whom prep helps as much as doom. Loki is much better at magic than doom, Loki is an asgardian which means he has a huge base strength/physical advantage over dooms human physiology and loki is as smart doom.

Dr. Doom the very mention of his name makes lesser men tremble!

He has been called the second best magic user in the Marvel Universe next to Sourcer Supreme Strange. Doom is the best sourcerer based on feats. He has survived hits and blasts from the Beyonder and Galactus. He has also stolen both of their powers before. Since he has an uncanny familiarity with magic he can use Loki's against him. Doom has great durability and Loki cant hurt him. Doom can put a hurt on loki though.

Magneto, a master of the whole electromagnetic spectrum, which if you don't know is one of the four fundamental forces of nature, and someone who is not going to play around when facing a threat on the level of apocalypse.

As I mentioned above, he is a master of the entire electromagnetic spectrum, so that include visible light, radio waves, ultraviolet light, gamma rays, x-rays, etc. So he's more than just a one trick pony.

Starting with the most obvious power he has, his control over metal, Magneto isn't limited to metals that we can see with the human eye, but he has fine enough control to effect the iron in a persons blood. Just compare what he did to Wolverine (http://i.imgur.com/A2EFO7q.jpg) to what he does to Storm and some other mutants (http://i.imgur.com/CcVhwDY.jpg). Now Black Joker, apocalypse is also prepped, so he's going to know not to come into battle with any metal on him, so there goes Apoc's usual metal armor. This is still going to be a problem for Apoc because, while I don't know exactly what is in the technoorganic virus, it definitely seems like something that modifies or replaces things in the body with metal, and unfortunately for Apoc, he does have the Technoorganic virus in him.

The setting is also going to be pretty helpful for Magneto, in the middle of a city. Tons and tons of metal for Magneto to take advantage of, he could drop a building, a car, a ship, whatever is around on Apoc (http://i.imgur.com/73hRhAU.jpg) (http://i.imgur.com/mC4KYMw.jpg).

Additionally, Magneto can amp himself from the celestial bodies surrounding earth, tapping into the magnetic fields from planets like Venus or stars like the Sun. His control over the electromagnetic field is so strong that dude can create a wormhole to remove Apoc from the battle field ((http://i.imgur.com/Fl3gRIi.jpg) or slow down Apoc with a magnetic vortex that can freeze an area to nearly absolute zero(http://i.imgur.com/tVvwI7b.jpg). And while it wouldn't be the wisest choice of action to engage with Apoc physically, because dude is an absolute tank, Magneto has reflexes that allow him to tag speedsters like Northstar (http://i.imgur.com/pxt4fud.png) and blasts that can knock Sentry on his ass (http://img382.imageshack.us/img382/3753/magsvssentryye4.jpg) And we already know how strong Magneto's shields are, resisting the powers of the Phoenix (http://i.imgur.com/FqQqBvg.jpg)

Now do I think this is going to be an easy fight, of course not, but Magneto is a incredibly strong and versatile character, and given prep, he'll have a strategy to deal with this ancient mutant foe.

So.. who has been designated to judge these matches?

Annihilus with the cosmic control rod is powerful enough to take on and defeat Quasar, a character who was able to go toe to toe with the Silver Surfer, as well as Nova, Thor, and the Thing, all of whom he was able to defeat relatively easily. Even without the CCR, Annihilus had superhuman strength, stamina, and durability, all of which is augmented to a much higher level by the CCR. The rod also brings energy and molecular manipulation powers as well as the ability to project destructive energy blasts of immense power. With the CCR, Annihilus was durable enough to survive a blast from Galactacus, a being much more powerful than anyone drafted. Annihilus is also highly intelligent, particularly in regards to strategy/technology. These powers combine to create an immensely powerful and intelligent being who (with the CCR) can go toe to toe with anyone in the draft.

Lightray and Mar-Vell, while powerful characters, appear to be rather standard superhuman characters as far as the powers available to them, with a bonus coming as far as synergy due to Lightray's ability to feed Mar-Vell solar energy. Unfortunately for them, Annihilus with the CCR can control energy and matter, which could be used to negate and possibly reverse any manipulation of solar energy brought to the fight by Lightray. While there is still a numbers disadvantage for Annihilus in a 2 v 1, the benefits afforded him by prep (the CCR as well as an understanding of how his opponents function, combined with his high strategic intelligence as well as the other benefits afforded by being given preparation) and the significant power boost that it provides is enough for him to overcome that disadvantage. The trump focusing on solar energy is a big part of what allows Annihilus to withstand it as he possesses a greater and more diverse ability to manipulate energy and matter. With the CCR and the other benefits of prep provided to him, Annihilus is powerful enough to take on and defeat these two heroes.

First time writing one of these things, a little difficult as it's going against a trump. If anyone has any suggestions for future write-ups feel free to PM me, I'm pretty clueless at this point, just tried to write as much as I could. :oldlol:

I see it the exact opposite. Loki gets more out of prep versus prep because he can gimp Doom's plans. That's what he does. I'd give it to Doom if he had homefield in Latveria.
