He always sucked at defense. it's only since he moved to the Leastern conference that he started looking good defensively.

i think the change in gasol is due to the league being smaller

7'2 13 RPG per game Andrew Bynum and all time great defensive shooting guard Kobe Bryant lead that team defensively. Pau was just along for the ride.

Hasn't done sh*t when it matters (playoffs) since like 2010.

Pau has a better defensive rating and higher defensive win shares than Kobe.

So Pau was the leader on defense and bailed Kobe out on offense. The real FMVP:bowdown:

Kobe with Luke Walton, Chris Mihm, Smush Parker & Kwame Brown won more playoff games (4) in 2006 & 2007, then Pau Gasol has with the Memphis Grizzlies before they joined forces.

Think about that for a second.
Memphis had a 50 win season as well, and still were swept.
